Profile
Anuja Shandilya was the first practitioner in the UK to formally bring together Ayurveda and Functional Medicine — and remains one of the few clinicians globally working at this rare intersection of ancient wisdom, scientific precision, and truly personalised care.
Her path began with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience from King’s College London. She went on to earn a first-class degree in Ayurvedic Studies, followed by further training in Nutritional Therapy (Distinction), Yoga Teacher Training, Plant-Based Culinary Medicine, and multiple certifications in Functional Medicine.
Anuja is a graduate of both the School of Applied Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University. She was awarded the Flame of Knowledge by the Kharrazian Institute — one of only 41 practitioners globally. She has also studied Neuroscience at Cambridge University and is currently completing a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy.
